Design your own Stamps!

	Is in good focus
	The subject, or face of the subject should have good contrast and detail
	Is 72 dpi or higher
	The more pixels in your photo, the better.  Minimum 100 x 100
	Use a photo that is high resolution, or larger than the size stamp you will be making.
If you are taking new photos to create your stamps, set your camera on a high pixel setting, and shoot your subject on a neutral colored background.  This will make it easier to extract the image from the background.

3. Crop: Crop the image to one of the Stampics stamp sizes, and save at 300 dpi.

4. Create your Stamp.  Remove the background from around the image if desired, and add text or other elements to your stamp.  Convert it to gray scale, and be sure to choose the channel that shows the best contrast in the main 'face' of the subject.  Remember that the final stamp will reflect gray scales, so any layers you create must contrast with the background.  (ie., Don't put black text on a dark gray background.)  

5. Submit:  When you are satisfy with your design, save it in "jpg" format, and upload it through the order page.  If there is a problem with the artwork, we will return it to you and your card will not be charged.
